We sell about 800 farm fresh chickens at our farm stand each summer, between May and October. They are raised in batches of 100, at intervals of 3 weeks apart. The chickens are free range and are butchered at the Salt Spring Abattoir. They usually dress out at 4-5 lb and the price is $4.95/lb.
